Nashville SC Secures Supporters’ Shield with Historic Record
By MediaFx
Nashville SC has secured the Supporters’ Shield, marking the first time in club history the team has earned the honor for having the best regular season record in Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2026. The victory came after a 2-0 win over CF Montréal, which made it impossible for any other team to surpass their 21-3-7 record in 31 games. Nashville SC now holds the No. 1 seed in the MLS Playoffs, with home field advantage in the opening round. The team is also within striking distance of the MLS record for most points in a single season, currently held by Inter Miami with 74 points. The Supporters’ Shield also grants automatic qualification for the Concacaf Champions Cup.
