Nashville clocks fall back November 1: check late-night plans

By MediaFx

Nashville moves from daylight saving time to standard time on Sunday, November 1, 2026. At 2am local time, clocks return to 1am. The National Institute of Standards and Technology lists November 1 as the 2026 end of US daylight saving time.

For Nashville and Middle Tennessee plans, use America/Chicago and check the date on the organiser’s listing. The 1am hour happens twice that morning: a booking or overnight shift described only as “1:30am” can be ambiguous. Ask the organiser or employer which occurrence they mean; do not infer an extra hour of opening or service.

If you are travelling or working overnight, confirm the current transport timetable, ticket and shift instructions directly. A clock change alone does not establish a WeGo detour, cancelled flight, extended venue licence or changed appointment. Keep the organiser’s written confirmation where timing matters.

NashvilleFx displays local editorial dates in Central Time with seasonal daylight-saving handling. Publication time is separate from an event’s start and finish. Source checked October 27, 2026, Central Time: NIST’s daylight saving reference. This is a service explainer, not a live disruption notice. The cover is an original information card, not an event photograph.
